Let the Fun Begin.
Monday, November 2, 2009 at 09:36AM On November 1, we set out on a week-long adventure in New York City. Given all the baby gear we would need, we decided to drive to our midtown hotel. And we took a little break in Princeton, NJ, where we visited S., A., and S.-dog. Audrey absolutely loved this visit and took to everyone quite easily (perhaps the only source of contention was S.-dog's understandable interest in A.'s toys. They were, after all, quite similar to her own!).
There, we were treated to the most wonderful brunch of bagels, lox, fruit, and a frittata. Just when we thought we could eat no more, S. treated us to chocolate-ginger cake and pumpkin-mascarpone ice cream. We thought we died and gone to heaven after this dessert! And then we were off, stocked to our gills with two bags of treats - one bag of precious gifts for A. and another filled with goodies to see us through the week, along with some maps and such of NYC. Thank you C. family! We can't wait to continue our adventure with you later this week.
