Bundle = Bundle of Joy.
Thursday, November 5, 2009 at 06:08PM I think we died and went to a slice of baby-clothing heaven. While S. was visiting us from Princeton, we tackled a list of NYC/Greenwich Village baby stores that I made. We visited a toy store, Dinosaur Hill, and two clothing stores: Cremebebé and Bundle. Bundle was by far our favorite (I think I can speak for S., too).

(I can't take credit for the above pictures of the boutique. I found them on the internet and wanted to share the store's charm with you.) The store was a tiny, shoebox-sized, soft-purple shop that was brightly lit and full of delicate clothing treats for little ones. We could've spent forever there and I found a million things that I would've loved to dress A. in, but settled on one (sale!) piece outfit by Ella Moss. This little outfit will look absolutely angelic on Miss A. come Spring/Summer.

Dinosaur Hill was a fun, little magical-feeling place. I walked away with a cocker spaniel handpuppet for A. (noiseless handpuppets were encouraged by our Kindermusik teacher) and some super-jingly reindeer bells that she loves to shake. Cremebebé was, well, interesting, and not nearly is charming as the other two shops. While it had plenty of beautiful (i.e., expensive) baby items, it was a bit dungeon-y (maybe even a littly grimy looking?), which didn't exactly encourage baby-clothes browsing. Next on our shopping list: Estella. And I'm seriously tempted to return to Bundle . . . This trip isn't over yet!
