Dance To The Music (And Falling Leaves).

We love Thursdays.  It's music-class day.  Not only that, A. gets to catch up with some of her dear friends from classes past, plus she shares a class with friend A. and even sees baby O-ee as he arrives for the next class.  Talk about excitement.

Today, A. especially loved playing with a hula-hoop (um, why didn't I think of that?).  Step in, step out. Jump in, jump out.  Genius.  And we played with scarves, blowing them into the air, and sticks, which we banged and clanked in all sorts of fun ways.  And of course there's lots of planned stomping, twirling, clapping, singing, and dancing (plus, the teacher is teaching the littles how to "stop!"  Fantastic).  Add to that, the beautiful park that surrounds the sweet little chapel where class is located.

The drive to class is quite far for us:  nearly 1 hour in D.C. traffic (boo, D.C. traffic).  It's close to our old home in Vienna and we love the teacher and we love the chapel, so why not return?  To help space out the long drive there and back, A. and I stayed after today, played outside, and enjoyed lunch on a nice park bench.  Oh, and yes, that's a seriously exciting stamp of a spider and spiderweb on A.'s hand. Very, very, very cool.

Really love the pic of A walking with her hands in her pockets! So grown up of her! Hoping we get to see some cute pics of her in a Halloween costume. :)
