She Never Ceases to Amaze Us.
Tuesday, October 5, 2010 at 03:55PM My girl A. She is the neatest thing going these days. I swear, she wakes up and surprises us with every waking moment. I can't imagine all the work her little self is doing while she sleeps, preparing her for leaps and bounds in her young life (or, as in this case, preparing her with the tools necessary to climb into the basket of her stroller and hang out for a bit. By the way: don't even ask why the stroller is in our living room, next to the couch. I so plead the Fifth).
It seems as if overnight A. recently started speaking in short two or three-worded combinations and referring to herself in the first person. Who is this little person f/k/a MY BABY?! One day, I asked her if she would like to try something at dinner, to which she responded, "I try." The next, my dad said in front of her "she loves books," to which A. responded, "I love books." Then, there are the "An-ma, shower . . .", "morning, Papa!" and the "honey, please" phrases she tickles us with. Or her observations of the weather, (" 'tis windy," or "RAIN!") and other conditions ("I sorry!" or "boom on head!") I think it's time to start a quote book, yes? I can only begin to imagine the chatterbox we have blossoming before us!

That is so adorable. Kris and I actually had a difficult time developing our language skills because we grew up bilingual. Oh my - it must be such a blessing to hear sweet things come out of her mouth! She seems like such a smartieeeeee!!
This is a top 5 fave post. The picture is perfect!
