Today's Pick.

Everyday, A. latches onto a favorite something.  Today, it was a hat given to her by my Uncle J. last Christmas.  A. didn't want to take it off.  She loves it and even happily obliged me when I took her picture, proudly smiling with her pink and purple hat barely atop her little head.

I'm surprised she didn't nap in it.  Instead, we agreed on a good place for it and when she's ready to wear it again, A. will know where to find it.

(And yes, we're still "training".  And the progress is noticeable.  A. is communicating her needs very well, if you know what I mean.  And we're even leaving the house.  No major victories, but definitely progress . . . for now.)
