Snowy Day.

Honoring one of A.'s favorite books, Snowy Day, by Ezra Jack Keats, M. took A. outside yesterday for the first time, post-cold, to play in the season's first snow.  Um. We think she enjoyed herself.

M. and A. also worked hard on a few snowmen (3, to be exact).  And it's funny - I've seen their little guys popping up in our neighborhood (they stand just a foot or so tall; they must make passersby smile!).  Here are some pictures of their fine work (and A. looking quite serious or, as M. says, "all business").

Hooray! for spending time outdoors.  Finally!  Tomorrow, I'm anxious to get into a new routine with my healthy A., following some great advice from cousin S., whose kids' pediatrician from years ago, suggested plenty of outdoor time - 2 hours a day -  as a prescription for good health and keeping the colds at bay.  Snow or shine, more outside time, here we come!
