Dressed Up.

A. put on her Sunday best for our becoming-a-tradition Chrismas Eve dinner out.  And she worked it for our cameras, dancing up a storm before we headed to our destination.

And thank you, thank you, THANK YOU A., for your drawing obsession!  Folks, this girl made it through a long dinner thanks to a take-along bag filled with her stickers, crayons and drawing paper (though, the crowning moment of the evening was when A. exclaimed to the waiter, "BREAD, PLEASE!").  We opted to skip dessert in favor of avoiding A. turning into a pumpkin, so-to-speak, but when we packed up to leave, A. wanted to stay.  How about that?!

Inevitably, though, it was home for bed and time to clear the way for Santa who would surely want all of us to be cozied into bed before he descended our fireplace.
