Packing Up.
Sunday, June 6, 2010 at 08:45PM Sorry. The blog posts are out of chronological order, here. I'm just trying to catch-up and - hopefully - start afresh! Packing up our former home, suffice it to say, took FOREVER. But with A.'s help (who slacked a bit, stopping to play in the boxes, read magazines, etc. ,etc. What do you expect from a 13-month old?), we somehow managed to recycle, donate, or pack our belongings.
Every time I've moved, I've sworn that I will never, ever, ever, EVER move again (or that I'll pay someone to pack my belongings; it's simply not enough to hire moves as we have). But I'm afraid I can't realistically make that promise now. It's not that I don't love, love, love our new home, because I do! The reality is, when I'm older - say 90? - and not hopping around as well, our three sets of stairs will simply not be feasible for fragiel knees. And so, I suspect, before I reach the ripe ol' age of 90, we will have to move. Sigh.
