Our Little Thumbsucker . . . No. 2.
Tuesday, August 17, 2010 at 04:17PM Yep, you read it right! Baby D-2 is on his/her way! We're thrilled to announce that A. will become a big sister this winter. Her baby brother or sister (it'll remain unknown until the big birthday!) is due to arrive around February 24, 2011.
We *met* our future new addition yesterday. And, generally, I'm opposed to posting such personal pictures, but I couldn't help myself this time. We're just SO excited! It was clear from the images that baby D-2 - like his/her sister A. - is a thumbsucker (can you say orthodontics?). Unlike Miss A. at this time early in her life, baby D-2 was extremely calm, laid back, and enjoying the coziness of his/her home (back in the day, A. bobbed and flipped and made it nearly impossible for the doctor to take her NT Scan measurements. Ah, our girl! It's what I love, love, love about her - she's always on the go!).
Cutie. Boy or girl? Curly hair or straight? Mama's nose or papa's nose (it's looking like my pointy nose!). To. Be. Determined. Hooray (if I do so say myself!)!

Hooray!!! What happy news. Thumb sucking is good...it's a form of self soothing...self soothing is good....especially with two kids-:). We are so happy for you and your family.
