School Days.

Okay, not really.  A. hasn't started school (but I think she'd love it!).  But we've spent many early, before-the-summer-heat-cooks-us Saturday mornings at the playground of her future elementary school. The routine is this: First, walk the "back" path to Dunkin' Donuts where A. gets two blueberry munchkins . . .

Then, mama and papa take their respective breakfasts - egg/bacon/cheese croissant for each and a OJ for mama (to be shared with A.) and an iced-coffee for papa (not to be shared with A.) - to the park while A. runs and plays . . .

. . . and enjoys the school children's garden . . .

And then we go home, melted from the increasing heat and cool off and relax until A.'s now once-a-day nap (yes, that transition happened this summer . . . I'm starting to like it!  A good two to three hour break for the mama!).
