Little Landscaper.
Friday, September 17, 2010 at 09:12PM Grandma and Grandpa T. are in town and the D. family is keeping them busy! I enlisted Grandma and Grandpa T. to help revamp our little green space outside the front of our home. And we've volunteered A.'s help. This landscaping effort included the removal of a seriously giant, more than 20-year old azalea bush, which was creating some seriously anti-curb appeal in front of our home.
I am beyond excited that my mom is taking the lead in the gardening department. When asked what I wanted for my September birthday, I exclaimed, "no gifts! Just labor! Please!" Well, she came through, putting her mad gardening skills to work. By the time she cleared our front landscape, she - with the help of A., of course (see above) - managed to pull the ancient azalea, root and all. Her work was amazing. Just wait until you see the finished product!
