Family Birthday + Lake = Perfect Sunday.

We celebrated my grandma's September 25th birthday on Sunday and enjoyed a cozy, family-filled day at the Pleasant Lake cottage.  Special thanks to Miss L. who graciously looked after A. the entire time (and to L. and J. for giving her some of their favorite childhood books), allowing this mama to relax.  

And, of course, no birthday would be complete without a lit cake and birthday song (see the beloved Pleasant Lake behind my uncle and dad?!) . . . 

To which A. responded, looking to her great-grandma as if to say "let's get this show on the road and EAT":  "An-ma, blow!"
