This is Love.
Wednesday, September 29, 2010 at 11:44PM A. and I spent this evening with my dear friend L.' and her daughter L., who is a wee 6-months old and super lovable in all of her baby chubbiness. And A. loved her. Like, seriously, seriously adored L. She really couldn't hug her and cuddle her enough.
Do you suppose she'll feel this much adoration for baby D-2? Or will she have this much adoration for the baby . . . until she realizes that s/he is here to stay? I suspect she'll immediately love baby D-2 and gradually, in her own time, adjust to the idea that the new addition will be a permanent fixture in the D. home. To be continued . . .
