Apple Orchard.

We decided this morning to take Miss A. to a nearby apple orchard.  The drive was short and the weather was perfect (gosh, I love this Michigan Fall weather; I suspect we'll see these temps in Virginia come October).  But above all, the orchard was splendid!

A. took a total liking to the small farm . . . 

I loved the charming store, filled with pumpkins, gourds, apples and miscellaneous delectables . . . 

And all of us loved and devoured our orchard treats:  cinnamon donuts and cider.

Oops, except pregnant me, who realized at the very last second, as I raised my cup to drink, that I had to avoid the non-pasteurized cider.  To make up for not drinking cider at the - er - cider mill, I happily volunteered for an extra donut.

Ahhhhh, Fall's the best season EVER, isn't it?
