Happy New Year '11!
Saturday, January 1, 2011 at 02:00PM WELCOME 2011! We hope everyone happily rang in the New Year and was up and at 'em this Saturday, 1-1-11. M. and A. got a great start on this mama, heading downstairs to fry up some bacon and make up some buttermilk waffles. Yum.
(The day also included a very long visit with the neighborhood park [it was kinda balmy here]. And some painting. Of course there was painting . . . Until A. - after multiple warnings not to and knowing full-well better - placed the paint brush in her mouth.)
I can't think of a better way to begin the New Year, can you? (Okay, maybe on a beach on a small island off the coast of Thailand, along with M., A., and some waffles, a slide and paint, but that's just being greedy. Um, and outside of our budget, too . . . ) We hope your day is filled with first-of-the-year traditions and happiness. Be well and we're wishing you a wonderful '11!

Are you craving bacon? I craved so much bacon with John. I ate it at every meal, and as a snack! Maybe that's where my 53lbs came from. Maybe that's a boy in your belly? Who knows? I'm not ready to call it yet.:)
