Sunday With Papa.

While I enjoyed brunch with dear friend E. on Sunday, M. and A. had a bit of a papa-daughter adventure. M. packed a backpack with necessities (e.g., goldfish and juice) and headed out our back walk to introduce A. to some bulldozers and diggers at a nearby building site.  

From there, the two traipsed over to the metro station and headed one stop north to Reagan National Airport.  No, they didn't fly off for a far-away adventure (thankfully!).  Rather, A. played at the concourse and watched the planes.

Great place to go with kiddos on a cold day, right?!  And M. observed that there were more than just a few apparently-local dads hanging out with their kids at National Airport, too.  Why not?  And a metro ride to boot?  Sounds like a good day for A.
