"A Girl And Her Stick."
Friday, February 18, 2011 at 12:00PM Credit goes to my mom for titling this post. Yesterday, she walked to the Oronoco Bay Park while A. and I opted for the car, meeting her there (I had my doubts about personally making the trek to and from home by foot, despite the benefits it might have for my pregnant state). While there, A. took a particular liking to one big, giant stick and Grandma T. observed, "a girl and her stick!" Who knew!
Yesterday was another one of those gorgeous, gorgeous days. And we were so happy to spend time outdoors. Besides coddling her wooden friend, A. loved watching the ducks, playing in the sand, lounging on the benches, and traipsing over the grass, up and down hills and along the pathway.
I wish this weather was the beginning of true Spring; I suspect it's not and that we'll have a few doses of winter weather yet. In the meantime, thought, we're going to spend as much time as possible outside and I promise that I will walk, walk, walk in an effort to get this baby here!

I want an adult size sweater like A's. It's to die for. She looks super spiffy in it. I hope you're hanging in there Corie. I think of you daily.
I totally want that brown sweater, too. I envy A. every time she wears it :) If I find one, I'll let you know!
