WELCOME TA-TA S.!

I should mind my words here.  We're welcoming my dear, dear friend "Ta-Ta" (or "Aunt") S. (not a baby whom we've named Ta-Ta S.). today for the weekend.  We're so excited!  Previous to today, she has been staying in Maryland to attend a business meeting.  She visited us a few nights ago and it was such a treat to have her show up on our doorstep, as if she lived just moments away.

A. was enamored with her.  While the three of us, M., my mom, and I appreciatively looked on (exhausted from staying busy and keeping up with A. the last few days), S. and A. played and played and played (dancing and spending a good chunk of time looking for a "frog" in the fireplace . . . ).  When S. left, I had to repeatedly assure A. that S. would return for an entire weekend.  We can't wait!  And maybe she'll be our baby-D. good luck charm and baby D. will decide to arrive while she's here. What fun!  If not and regardless, we're still thrilled about our visitor staying here.  Welcome Ta-Ta S.!
