Day 2 With E.

Not surprisingly, I'm behind in blog posts.  We're relishing this cozy, sleepy (though not always sleepful!) baby time.  We'd rather be holding E. and A. than the laptop. That said, I desperately want to share photos of E. and A. with you.  These are some pictures taken the day after E. was born and during A.'s second visit with her little sister.

Before E. was born, I spent needless minutes worrying whether A. should visit the hospital and, if so, when.  If she visited, would she cry, leaving her mama behind?  If she didn't visit, was I stealing a precious opportunity from her?  Well, let's just say it would've been a grave mistake to not let A. meet E. at the hospital.  A. loved visiting.  And when she left following her two lengthy visits, she didn't even really mind heading home with Grandma.  This last time, in fact, A. happily declared as she left, "bye-bye, baby Emma!"  What on earth was I worried about?!
