Regression.

Okay, regression in a not-bad way.  As you might imagine, we've been pulling baby items out of the attic and/or basement storage, washing them, and preparing them for the baby's arrival.  As one particular item was making its way from basement to attic (it won't be used for some time), A. wanted to revisit her old haunt.  An acquaintance of ours humorously referred to hers as "the circle of neglect," (i.e., leave your child in it and walk away).  And so we enjoyed a brief break while A. enjoyed her ol' circle.

She looks so giant in it!  Indeed, friends with more than one child have told us that when the baby arrives, A. will seem downright enormous to us.  It's hard to imagine A. not being the baby (well, she is and always will be, but . . .) and that we'll have a new, teeny-tiny growing person around here!
