E.'s Visit and Pictures.

Our dear friend E. visited this weekend.  She lives in Virginia, but a good 20 or so miles away.  And D.C. traffic nearly prohibits us from visiting regularly and makes it seem like she lives much farther. So, when we plan a visit, we plan for her to stay over.  And she's always such a breath of fresh air. A. totally loves her. And it didn't take E. long to nestle up to her, either. (Note:  many of these pictures were taken by E. during her stay.)

She was with us during the great stroller meltdown of '11 (see below).  Thankfully, she was quietly supportive as M. and I tried to figure out - and agree on - a solution for this situation (we were struggling with A.'s comfort, demand, request vs. the importance of keeping her in the stroller and preparing her for when it's just me and the kids.)  Thank you, E., for visiting (not to mention the delicious french toast and the St. Patty's Day gift for E.).  Come back soon!
