We're Getting Cooler By The Day (Um, Not Really).
Thursday, March 24, 2011 at 07:18PM Well, in my mind, we kinda are. We left the house. And not for a walk. I mean, we pulled ourselves together (okay, I pulled us all together), walked out the door, to our car, got into our car, drove to Barnes & Noble, exited the car, walked through the parking lot, walked into the store and stayed at Barnes & Noble for two hours, a trip that included lunch.
THEN we made a purchase, walked out of the store, got into our car, drove home, got out of the car, walked to our home, entered our home. ALIVE. My gosh, we can do it! We can leave the house and have a nice outing! Who knew! (Okay, the tens of millions of parents who do it everyday. Forgive me, I'm new to this.) Crazy fun. We'll do this again. Like, tomorrow, if we can.
Note: E. slept through our entire adventure and A. was great and enjoyed every moment of Thomas-the-Train playing, book-reading, and playing with her friend (and new big brother), A.
