No, Really. I'm Awake.

Here is E., in all her one-month old awakened glory.  Yes, she's opening her eyes more and, well, actually looking at things.  Favorite looking-at objects, right now, consist of mama and papa's eyeglasses and the snail on her vibrating chair.

E.'s still sleeping a lot.  She seems to take four long naps and dozes off here and there (just about anything will lull her to sleep).  At night, she's up late with us (her most alert time is after A.'s bedtime), goes down with us and wakes up for two feedings (I wish she'd drop the earlier of the two. Soon enough).  Depending on the timing of the second one, my goal is to wake-up and enjoy some quiet/productive time to myself (I've managed this once:  today after a 5AM wake-up).  Right now, in fact, E. is sleeping (and so is A.  How else could I possibly update this site?!).  Must enjoy.  As my dad says, "she's not going to sleep forever!"  True, true!
