2:33PM

A Day In The Young Life Of E.

It's quite simple.  Let's use today as an example, beginning at midnight.  3:47AM, eat.  6:10AM, eat.  7-something, Papa gathers E., gathers A. and takes the littles downstairs.  8-something, eat again.  Doze on and off.  Join Mama and A. in the basement, sit in swing.  Sleep until 11ish.  11ish, eat.  Nap in crib until 1ish.  1ish, eat and visit with Mama, then fall asleep. Currently, 2:36PM, in and out of sleep, snorting, grunting, cooing.

My prediction for the rest of the afternoon:  eat every 2 - 3 hours, maybe take a walk outdoors, sleep, sleep, and sleep.  Then, just as the mama sits down to enjoy dinner, wake-up and stay awake throughout the entire evening until somewhere between 9PM and 1030PM.  Oh, and insert multiple diaper changes between sentences/hours/text above.  We have lots of those.  Oh, and inject A.'s sweet exclamations to E. between sentences/hours/text above as well, e.g., "E. gotta dirty diapah!"  "Bless you!"  "Baby cryin'!"

Again, as my dad says, E. "won't sleep forever."  Things should get more interesting soon, soon enough.  Until then, it's simply nice just holding onto this little baby!
