Happy Birthday (Or, Merry Christmas?), E.!
Saturday, March 5, 2011 at 02:00PM Today, Uncle R., M.'s brother, came over to visit and meet E. for the first time. And, I swear, if he was wearing a red velvet outfit lined with white fur, I would've mistaken him for the real Santa Claus. The B-I-L came bearing a massive load of gifts for A., E., and family. Including a delectible cake that we made into a birthday cake for E.
Uncle R. donned us with muslin swaddling blankets, pink & sweet clothes for E. (my reaction: "I'm not sure what's cuter: the pink, girly clothes or the image of Uncle R. choosing them!"), an indoor/outdoor standing basketball hoop!!! for A. and a beach- or house-friendly tent for the girls. And I'm not finished yet! There were cribsavers (which we love to use for non-changing table diaper changes; and I ask, how did Uncle R. know we could use something like this? How did this uncle know such a thing existed?!), a stroller blanket, dvds for A. I mean, for real. This uncle loves his nieces (A.'s always thrilled to see and play with him). Wew. That was exhausting. And very. much. appreciated. Thank you, R.!
