Easter Eve.

I'm excited for Easter this year.  I think that A. might actually enjoy searching for a few eggs, strategically hidden by the Easter Bunny.  And in preparation for the bunny's visit, we dyed eggs - A.'s first egg-dying experience.

E. joined in best she could. (She's a pretty, round, pastel Easter egg herself, wouldn't you say?)

And A. didn't want to let go of one of our dozen eggs.  She preferred to keep that one egg white.  And then she broke it.  And then we had to eat it.  (Pretty nice yolk, eh?)

And then M. wanted to creatively document the remnants of our egg-dying festivities.  (Is that a face I see?)

A. capped off her first egg-dying experience with a homemade chocolate chip cookie.

Then, it was time to put the eggs away until the Easter Bunny arrives to hide the eggs for A. to find.  Happy Easter Eve, all!  I hope you and yours are observing the holiday together and taking a little time to participate in the German-in-origin Easter Bunny, treats, gifts, and eggs .
