Cold, Cold, Are You Here to Stay?
Saturday, April 30, 2011 at 03:53PM Please. Don't stay. GO AWAY. I'm into week three with a cough. A. and E. are still fighting their colds, though we see improvement. Today, M. is complaining of some throat soreness and an achey lower back. E. and I. are sleeping in the combination E./Guest bedroom so we don't keep M. awake at night. M. is on his own in an attempt to have some peace (though he, in short time, may be keeping us awake with a cough of his own). And A. is sequestered in her room, still waking occasionally with fits of coughing. UGH.
Our hopeful remedies: lots of fluids and lots of outdoor/fresh-air time. We have some pictures from a visit to a local park today. Will post those soon. Also have beautiful pictures of last week's visit to Alexandria's River Farm to post (heaven! beautiful!). Will get to those in short order, too.
But to tide us over, we have some yummy E. pics. Love this girl and sister A.
E., for now, is a pacifier baby. The pacifier seems to be filling her need-to-suck-her-still-too-short thumb. Though the closer she gets to actually sucking her thumb, the more frequently she's rejecting the pacifier. Never fear, E. If you need it, A. is here to pop it back in your mouth. Do you feel the love?
