The Essence of Summer.

We'll be signing off for a bit of time to enjoy the upcoming holiday with family and friends.  We love summer and I can't wait to enjoy the festivities.  As we countdown to our Indepdence Day celebrations, we're spending a little time outdoors.  Today has been, seriously, picture perfect.  Today, really, is the poster child for Summer, yes?

Blue skies, low humidity, and - of course - sprinkler temps!! We've spent the last two mornings soaking up the sun on our patio (yesterday's pictures coming soon, in another post).  Today, A. enjoyed washing rocks, filling her pail with water, and being sprayed with the hose by Mama - all while little E. took a three-hour morning nap (she needed it - a teething-related runny nose as been getting the best of her.  AND A. is teething, too!  Two-year molars, woo-woo!).
