Lake: Day 2.

Slowly but surely, I'm posting.  Honestly, someone's on the loose, stealing time.  I haven't seen this person, but my time is surely gone before I've even used it. Ha.

Anyway, back to the lake!  Sunday was 'party day' at the lake in celebration of the 4th of July holiday. And, thankfully, it wasn't nearly as hot.  We were joined by more family and my friends S. and her kids S. & H. The kiddos enjoyed the water, good summer food, and plain ol' kid fun.

The "fast" boat was a big hit with A., who - the next day - asked to "go fast" on the more-leisurely pontoon boat.

And, to our amazement, A. missed a bit of the party and opted for a good late-afternoon snooze.

On a present-day note, we're still enduring really high temperatures here in the Mid-Atlantic.  Today's temperature, not including the heat index, is projected to be 103 degrees.  These temperatures have meant way too much indoor time for the littles and me.  Fingers crossed for a less-oppressive weekend and some pool time!
