Michigan Trip Summer '11 Ends.

Ten days gone by too quickly! The Saturday before we left for home - and while we waited for our dear M. to return from Virginia - we bided our time at my parents' house, relaxing.

We were treated to a visit from K. and her girls, who were kind and generous and brought us heaps and loads of beautiful baby-girl clothing.  Thank you, ladies!  We really, truly appreciate your kindness and we were so happy to see you all again!

Later that evening, Papa finally arrived! Unfortunately, his plane was mucho, mucho delayed - by more than two hours. And I thought - hoped, really - that the delayed flight and plans to drive back to Virginia the next morning would sway M. to stay an extra day and, you know, rest up at the cottage. 

No. Such. Luck. While Papa happily played and caught up with this girls, he was resolute in his decision to make the trek back home on Sunday morning.  Please, please can't we stay one more day?  PLEASE? No. It was time to head home and say our goodbyes.

Thank you, thank you, Mom and Dad for hosting us and taking care of us during our wonderful stay with you. Thank you for the wonderful company, cozy bed and board, help with our busy girls, and for everything you did for us during our stay. We can't visit again soon enough.
